As Storm Brian battered the coastline of Portland Bill, I witnessed huge waves rising up as they hit the rock ledges which run under water and then smashing into the rocky coastline, exploding into the air like massive water bombs. What a buzz, shooting with two cameras in their own ‘water proof coats’ trying to stay upright from the gale force winds, meanwhile endeavouring to keep one eye on my subject and the other on what the sea was about to do near me. With a strong taste of salt in the air, wind slapping against my face and the sound of the roaring sea, my senses were on overload. The power of nature can be awesome.
